ESCANABA - The former Whitlee Frances Rogers became the wife of Mark Karl Witte II during a Sept. 12 ceremony at St. Anne's Church in Escanaba. Rev. Francis DeGroot presided over the 1 p.m. nuptials. A reception, in honor of the couple, followed at the House of Ludington.
Standing as matron of honor for her sister was Nycole Jones. Maid of honor was Katie Rogers, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Carly Skerbeck, friend of the couple, and Allison Dagenais, sister of the groom.
Best man was Matt Witte, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Jesse Witte, brother of the groom; John Rogers, brother of the bride; and Dave Jones, brother-in-law of the bride.

Seating the guest were Danny Rogers, brother of the bride, and Benji Rogers, cousin of the bride.
Flower girls were Ella and Brianna Jones, nieces of the bride.
Whitlee is the daughter of Dan and Carol Rogers, Escanaba. Mark is the son of Matt and Ruth Dagenais, Brampton, and Mark and Theresa Witte, Tucson, Ariz.
Following a honeymoon to Oahu, Hawaii, the newlyweds are residing in Newburgh, N.Y., where Mark is active in the Marine Corps. Mark and Whitlee plan to make their new home in Cherry Point, N.C., where Mark will be stationed as of January 2010.
