ESCANABA - Leah Thomma and Joesph Curran were married Aug. 1 at Van Cleve Park in Gladstone, during a ceremony officiated by Pastor Edward Leiskau.

Haley Thomma was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Danielle Gereau, Lesley Noel, Haili Young, Amy and Jennifer DeGrand.

Josh Marenger and Nathan St.Vincent were both best men for the groom. Groomsmen were Brian and Jamie Curran, Matt Warren and Jason McCarthy.

The daughter of Jim and Sandy Thomma of Escanaba, the bride graduated from Escanaba Area High School in 2004. She attended Bay de Noc Community College and earned a degree as a clinical lab technician from Northern Michigan University. Leah is currently employed at OSF St. Francis Hospital.

The son of Greg and Debbie Curran of Escanaba, Joe graduated from Escanaba Area High School in 2002. He attended Bay de Noc Community College, where he earned associate's degrees. Joe is currently employed at NewPage.

The newlyweds are planning a delayed honeymoon to Jamaica in February. They have made their home in Escanaba.
