ISHPEMING - Amy Krause and Scott Ayotte were married May 4 at Cherie Down Park on Cocoa Beach in Cape Canaveral, Fla. Rev. Diane Gonzales presided over the 3 p.m. nuptials. A dinner reception with family and friends was held at Atlantic Ocean Grille. A pool-side party followed at Fawlty Towers Hotel in Cocoa Beach. Locally, a reception was held June 6 at Negaunee Elks Club.
Attending the bride and groom were nieces and nephews, Taylor and Gavin Ayotte of Green Bay; Cambrie and Addison Perala of Negaunee; Mitch, Owen and Lainey Sysko of Tecumseh, Mich.; and the couple's son, Logan Ayotte of Ishpeming.
Serving as witnesses and signing the marriage certificate were Jill Sysko, sister of the bride, and David Harrington, friend of the couple.

The daughter of Tom and Kerri Krause of Hyde, Amy is a 1999 graduate of Escanaba Area High School. She went on to earn a bachelor's degree in 2003 from Northern Michigan University. Amy is employed as an office manager at Pathways in Marquette.
The son of Pete and Pam Gadzinski and Danny and Tammy Ayotte, all of Negaunee, Scott is a 1993 graduate of Ishpeming High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in biology in 1999 from Northern Michigan University. Scott is employed as an assistant plant operator at Cleveland Cliffs.
Scott and Amy honeymooned in Cape Canaveral and Orlando, Fla., and are making their home in Ishpeming.
