ESCANABA - Jerry Miller and the former Ann Clayton were united in marriage Jan. 10, 1959, during a ceremony at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Escanaba.
Rose (Clayton) Olson, the bride's sister, served as maid of honor, while the groom's friend, Jim Wilson, stood as best man.
Jerry is the son of the Leona (Kitty) Miller of Gladstone and the late Edward Miller. He is a retired woodsworker and retired Island Resort and Casino Guest Services employee.

Ann is the daughter of the late Robert and Alma Clayton. Ann is a retired McDonald's employee.
The couple's children treated them to a dinner at the Beachcomber's Restaurant, along with Jerry's mother, Leona Miller.
Jerry and Ann have four children - Ron, Jerry (Cherie), Dan (Lauri) and Wendy (Steve Bratonia), all of the Escanaba/Gladstone area. They also have six grandchildren - Danielle Miller, Jamison Miller, Annabelle Christie, Hannah Christie, Ryan Beggs and Amy Beggs.
