Defendants sent to circuit court

ESCANABA - The following individuals were recently bound over to Delta County Circuit Court in unrelated cases.

Clint Jacy-Joseph Broemer, 27, Green Bay, was bound over on the following three counts: operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, third offense, a five-year felony with a $5,000 fine; fleeing a police officer, third degree, a five-year felony with a $1,000 fine; and driving on a suspended license, a 93-day misdemeanor. The charges stem from a Jan. 1 incident in Escanaba. Cash bond was set at $10,000.

Robert Harley Davidson, 31, of 749 38th St, Escanaba, was bound over on two counts of controlled substance - delivery/manufacture of schedule 4, Alprazolam. Each felony carries a punishment of four years in prison and a $2,000 fine. The charges stem from incidents on Sept. 9, 2008, and Nov. 3, 2008, in Escanaba. Cash bond was set at $10,000.

Joshua John Meyers, 25, of 1906 1st Ave. S., Escanaba, was bound over on a charge of controlled substance - possession of marijuana, second or subsequent offense. The misdemeanor carries a penalty of two years imprisonment and a $4,000 fine. The charge stems from a Dec. 18, 2008, incident in Gladstone. Bond was set at $4,000.

Cases bound over to circuit court

ESCANABA - The following individuals were recently bound over from Delta County District Court to circuit court in unrelated cases.

Jennifer Lynn McGlothen, 36, of 749 38th St., Escanaba, was bound over on the following two controlled substance counts: delivery/manufacture of Amphetamine; and delivery/manufacture of Hydromorphone.

Each felony carries a maximum punishment of seven years in prison and a $10,000 fine. The charges stem from incidents on Sept. 8, 2008, and Oct. 20, 2008, in Escanaba. McGlothen was released on a $10,000 personal recognizance bond.

Markkey Lamer Seay, 31, Marquette, was bound over on one count of controlled substance -possession of less than 25 grams of cocaine, second or subsequent offense. The felony carries a punishment of eight years in prison and a fine of $50,000. The charge stems from a June 17, 2008, incident in Brampton Township. Bond was set at $5,000.

IMPAIRED DRIVING

Wayne David Manninen, 34, of 4120 16th Road, Escanaba, pleaded guilty to impaired driving; six months probation; $845 fines and costs.

David Eliot Nelson, 28, of 200 S. 22nd St., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to operating while impaired; 15 days jail, credit for one day served; 12 months probation; he was assessed $1,145 fines and costs.

Jason Thomas Lequia, 32, Seymour, Wis., pleaded guilty to operating while impaired; five days jail, community service in lieu of five days jail; six months probation; $845 fines and costs.

Daniel John White, 40, of 14 Mapleview Dr., Gladstone, pleaded guilty to operating while impaired; five days jail, community service in lieu of five days jail; six months probation; $845 fines and costs.

ASSAULT & BATTERY

Louise Katherine Russo, 18, of 216 Stephenson Ave., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to assault and battery; sentenced to 17 days jail; credit for five days served; 40 hours community service; alcohol tether for 60 days in lieu of an additional 15 days jail;12 months probation; assessed $495 fines and costs.
