BELVIDERE, Ill. - Ken Derouin and the former Sandy McMurtrie were united in marriage Dec. 20, 1958, during a ceremony in Belvidere, Ill.
Shirley Fibrow, the bride's sister, served as maid of honor, while the groom's brother, Roger Derouin, stood as best man.
The couple's children treated them to dinner at Catarah's in Schaffer, along with their grandchildren, great-grandchildren and Sandy's mother, Clara McMurtrie.

Ken is a retired Bark River-Harris Schools bus driver. He had also worked as a carpenter.
Sandy is employed at Farm Bureau Insurance in Escanaba.
Ken and Sandy have four sons - Joe (Sandy), Greg, Brian (Juli) and Mark (Katie), all of Bark River; seven grandchildren, Stephanie Heitz, Brooke Derouin, Bryce Derouin, Brittany Derouin, Brent Derouin, Braelyn Derouin and Brayden Derouin; and two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Allison Heitz.
