GLADSTONE - Roy Challender married the former Traci McKnight 25 years ago, Nov. 26, 1983, at New Life Assembly of God, Escanaba.
Maid of honor was Allison Vallier, friend of the bride. Friends of the bride Laura Pastirik and Linda Wihowski were bridesmaids.
Standing as best man was John Challender, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Steve McKnight, brother of the bride, and Kevin Pellinen, friend of the groom.

Flower girl and ring bearer were the bride's neice, Hannah McKnight, and the groom's nephew, Tim Woller.
Roy retired from. the U.S. Air Force in September of 2000. He is employed with the U.S. Postal Service in Escanaba. Both Roy and Traci are members of the New Life Assembly of God Church.
The couple's two children, Josh and Leah Challender, both reside in Gladstone.
