December 4, 2008

Pictured at left are Therese Jenshak, standing, and Carol Marenger, co-chairs of the 2008 “Lights of Love” annual campaign. OSF St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary members have kicked off the group’s annual “Lights of Love” campaign. For $3 each, people can purchase a light in recognition of a friend or loved one. Lights are hung on the hospital Christmas trees along US-2 & 41 and will continue to shine throughout the Christmas season. Lights of Love can be purchased through Wednesday, Dec. 31. Envelopes are available at Nikki’s Hallmark in the Delta Plaza, the deli counter at Elmer’s County Market, the Hospital gift shop and front desk, and through any OSF Auxiliary member. All money raised through this event is used to purchase much-needed equipment for use by area patients in need of medical treatment.
