WELLS - Arnold "Arne" C. Anderson, 58, lifelong Wells resident, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008, at his home in Wells with his family and loved ones by his side. He bravely left this world to be with his heavenly Father following a lengthy illness with cancer.

He was born July 18, 1950, in Escanaba, and was the son of Arnold and Elaine (Poquette) Anderson. Arne graduated from Escanaba High School in 1968 and he served as a altar boy for many years at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Wells.

Arne liked racing and raced stock cars. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing, bowling, hunting and working with wood. He also took pride in flying his plane, which took him 10 years to build. He received his pilots license in 1978. Arne fixed and restored cars in his garage and would help anyone with any project. Arne had a great passion for life and always had eight to 10 projects going on at the same time.

He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He is gone from our sight, but he lives forever in hearts.
