North shore proposals impressive

ESCANABA - Proposals on redeveloping Escanaba's north shore are impressive, expressed two members of the steering committee now in the process of scoring 10 proposals recently received by the city.

During Thursday's planning commission meeting, commissioners Bridgette Jaakola and Steve Buckbee gave their initial impressions of the plans to potentially develop shoreline from the lighthouse museum to the Escanaba River.
