ESCANABA-Several local businesses were recognized for their service and committment to the community Thursday evening during the annual Chamber Dinner held at the Island Resort and Casino.

The annual Chamber Dinner and Awards ceremony based the evenings events as "a non-political convention and event, entitled Decision '08.

Prior to the beginning of the evenings main event, the installation of new chamber officers was conducted, with Clay Peterson being named to serve as Chair for the Delta Chamber for the year 2008-2009.
