Allen – Vicenzi

ESCANABA — James and Ione Vicenzi, Escanaba, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday. Jim and “Oney” were married at Hermansville Methodist Church June 14, 1958. They made their home in Escanaba, where they raised four children, Brian “Chip” Vicenzi, Debbie (Mark) Sustman, Melanie (Steve) Schommer and Shawn (Laurie) Vicenzi, all of Green Bay, Wis. They have eleven grandchildren, Holli (Bucky), Matt, Nikki, Tony, Brandon, Scott, Robert, Jamie, Eric, Jenna and Josh, and four great-grandchildren, Jordan, Skylar, Lilly and Connor.

Jim is semi-retired, working for Lakestate Industries, and Oney is a homemaker. The couple has enjoyed many years of camping, family get-togethers, playing cards and watching their family continue to grow.

The couple will be celebrating their milestone occasion with numerous friends and family.
