Original wedding attendants were Ora Lee (Thompson) Lenertz, cousin of the bride; Patricia (Morgan) Rogers, friend of the bride; Jack Gollinger, cousin of the groom; and Rudy (Bud) Sydmark, brother of the bride.
An anniversary reception hosted by the couple’s four children was held May 3 at the Delta Pub in Gladstone.
Ronald worked for Northern Rebuilders as a parts assembler and retired in 1992 from his position as a crank welder.
Helen worked for the Gladstone Area Schools as a cook’s helper in the cafeteria/kitchen.
Both Ronald and Helen are members of All Saints Church and Escanaba Deaf Club.
The couple has four children — Cathy (Robert) Nivison of Rapid River, Ron (Jane) Brow of Marquette, and Jeff Brow and Lynn Brow, both of Gladstone. They also have four grandchildren — Jason Paquin, Kristina Paquin, Benjamin Brow and Bradley Brow.
