CARNEY — The Drama students at Carney-Nadeau High School invite the public to join them for an evening full of laughs as they present “Northwoods Nonsense” at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the school gymnasium. Tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for students.

In the play, as an inept congressman tries to destroy the nation’s national parks, a mystery man makes headlines and the rooms at a run-down hotel on Moose Bottom Lake become filled with more than just wildlife. “Northwoods Nonsense” is written by Andrew Ross and produced with special arrangements by Pioneer Drama Services.

The cast of zany guests and reports search for the mystery man in this fast-paced comedy in a unique and entertaining sequence of events. The public is invited to join this enthusiastic cast as they unravel the mystery behind the nonsense.

This year’s cast of twenty-four members from grades 9 through 12 includes the following student performers: Chelsey Chenard Powell, Frankie Lynch, Alicia Hasse, Kaylee Schetter, Lauren Quist, Devon Brand, Lacie Schetter, Karlee Merkling, Ronnie LaBelle, Chad Blumenschein, Issac Erickson, Olivia Dziedzic, Amanda Coffman, Kevin Lowry, Taylor Henderson, Tiffany Garrison, Kaylyn Schultz, Kaisa Erickson, Autam Wery, Kendra Bettiga, Dustin Lanaville, Mike Bettiga, Dylan Lanaville and Cheyanne Kiser.
