Nominations sought for faculty award

ESCANABA — Bay College is accepting nominations for the Outstanding Educator Award through April 4. This annual award is conferred upon one to three full-time faculty in recognition for their instructional and professional excellence. Recipients will be formally recognized at the college’s Annual Awards Banquet.
Community members and alumni, as well as Bay College students, board members, administration, faculty, and staff are invited to nominate one or more instructors he or she feels to be outstanding. The award focuses primarily on commitment to education and excellence in service.
Nomination forms can be accessed at Bay’s Web site www.baycollege.edu by clicking on Human Resources, HR Communications & Forms, and the link to the Outstanding Educator Award. Nominating forms are also available in Student Services at the Escanaba campus and at the West Campus in Iron Mountain.
Eligible full-time faculty include: Joyel Brule, Molly Campbell, Caitlin Capodilupo, James Ciminskie, Gregory Cutler, Crystal Dwyer, Sarah Flum, Shirley Gollach, Jennifer Gustafson, Stella Hansen, Jerry Havill, Patti Henning, Mark Highum, Bonnie Janeshek, Joyce King, June Klees, Kay LaCount, Mark Loman, Nanci Love, Todd McCann, William Milligan, Peter Noblet, Ronald Pearson, Joseph Shaw, Spencer Slade, Debbie Sleik, Sue Sundstrom-Young, and Thomas Warstler.
Award recipients for the past three years have included: Brian Black (2006-2007); Marc LaBeau, Karl Linderoth, Ann Sebeck (2005-2006); Stephen Buckbee, Troy Gallagher, Douglas Gavriloff (2004-2005).
