realyouper,

I think you're trying to make a mountain over an ant hill and trying make it out to be a mountain . . .

ALL things have value, even gods' smallest and biggest things . .

Our city admin has a purpose and has value,

the gods just haven't informed us,

yet.

I said it several times before and I will say it again!! Escanaba citizens need to get rid of Jim O"fool he is dishonest and of no real use to the city. Well perhaps he would be good for filling in pot holes on Escanabas roads!!!

*** The Escanaba City Council ought to be ashamed of themselves , although is not likely due to there Upper Echelon mentality The MISO is paying the City 3.7 Million to remain on line and finds the Power Plant of Escanaba ( OUR POWER PLANT ) ***** PROVIDES ****** RELIABILITY and ADDITIONAL TRANSMISSION for the regional market !! But Mr.Know It (NOT) all O'Toole says that if they void the agreement (MISO) that the city will absorb the cost by what ? 30% increase... So why are they not trying to secure a long term commitment from MISO - (who can see the value of the plant ) ? For the low turn out of citizens for such a important voting matter is disgusting . I believe this matter should be put to vote again with more information ( not the just the story the city is selling ) for the people to gain truth from . THIS IS SUCH A TRAVESTY TO BE SELLING OUR CITIES ASSET !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I VOTED NO. Well we will have to wait and see if it sells Friday .

"Allows the City to move FASTER to dump and destroy property that cost us MILLIONS of dollars over the years". Ok, that's what people want.. well, at least a small portion of them. (The larger portion of the population just couldn't be bothered to vote - NOTHING will be blamed on them) - I voted "No" because I believe we should have waited until AFTER the 'CHECK' promised this Friday was in the Bank. Those that couldn't be bothered to vote (pro or con) Do they REALLY love Escanaba? I dunno? Stay Tuned.
