When the rich, the corporations and the Republicans weasel their way out of paying yet another rounds of taxes,

you would expect them to pass on the savings to their customers and consumers ?

But, do they ever do that, reduce prices?

No, they come after anyone who still has money left in their pocket, and institute another round of price increases.

The baby food giant, Gerber, just made another under the table price increase,

by making their baby food jars smaller!

All the fast foodies, do the same, make their portions smaller,

and smaller, until they have to invent a new HAMBURGER.

The hamburger industry in the U.S. costs consumers over $100 BILLION DOLLARS a year.

It is the largest cash cow for the food industry in the U.S.

BravesRot,

WHY, do you keep asking me for answers?

Can't you REASON and ANALYZE ANYTHING for yourself?

On the one-hand you ask this question:

"how do you propose that these local businesses thrive in the face of the proposed huge increase in the minimum wage (which I believe you support) and higher taxes on businesses (which you also seem to support).

The big boxes can weather these things much better than the small and mid-sized businesses that you profess to support."

BravRots,

It's NOT ROCKET SCIENCE,

and you've answered your own question:

"The big boxes can weather these things much better than the small . .

IT'S EASY PUSH THE BIG RED BUTTON!

Tax the rich, and owners of corporations

MORE

BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE MEANS AND RESOURCES TO WEATHER and AFFORD the tax!

We have to face facts.

The simple reality of the situation is that revenue streams have changed for everyone, for individuals, for governments,

and lastly, for the rich and for the corporations.

Over the last 14 years, give or take a few years plus or minus,

The rich and corporations have done EXCEEDINGLY WELL, as far as wealth accumulation and profit making is concerned.

The rich and the corporations have succeeded in reducing their tax liability, all the while increasing their wealth.

On the other hand,

working people and governments have seen their revenue sources SHRINK dramatically.

Where has the money gone?

1. It has been taken away from working people and our governments

2. It has been sent to workers overseas,

3. It has been sent overseas to tax havens for the rich and for the corporations.

MONEY:

MORE for the RICH and CORPORATIONS and OVERSEAS workers

LESS for wage earners, and for our governments.

zero,

are you saying it's a "good" thing to let the rich and their corporations off the hood and pay less and less, and finally NO TAXES AT ALL,

because they will invest in America and create jobs for jobless American citizens?

The rich and their corporations are sitting on trillions of dollars, and don't seem to be inclined to invest in America and its citizens

anytime soon.

Let's tax the he.ll out that those trillions of dollars . . .

Not that it'll hurt them, but remember the old religious saying:

"TIS BETTER TO GIVE, THAN TO RECEIVE"

So, let's taz and tax the "H" out of them until they

"Feel Good"!

MORE IMPORTANTLY

Until WE feel good!

Whizzy

Seriously?

You want to place blame on only

3/5ths of all the twit’s, wit’s, and nitwit’s in the population ?

You’re slipping.

You’ve forgotten to include the half-wit’s, quarter-wit's and fully witless too.

Why pick on only 3/5 ths of the population while the other 2/5ths get off scott free ?

Whiz, I am glad to see that you are such a fan of supporting small local businesses rather than big box stores. You and I certainly agree on that point. However, how do you propose that these local businesses thrive in the face of the proposed huge increase in the minimum wage (which I believe you support) and higher taxes on businesses (which you also seem to support). The big boxes can weather these things much better than the small and mid-sized businesses that you profess to support.

Rules:

Don't shoot the message if you cannot present any message at all!

You cannot imagine the time and force needed to pound a simple nail into republican blockheads!

You're probably the only one who doesn't need to be reminded.

Everything that plutocrats, the oligarch's, their politicians, the rich, the two party system,

especially the republicans, their businesses and their corporations, is not

serendipitous or left to chance.

it's all a part of a carefully, cleverly crafted concoction and covert conspiracy of subterfuge to better their wealth positions ….

See you in the parallel universe

if you’re up to it.

And while you’re at it,

What do you propose that in your mag·nan·i·mous view

how to simplify the rant and chant to educate the myopic ?

Clearly, you must have an idea?

Surely, you know that repetition is an important fundamental part of education ?

Shoot the messenger,

if you’re incapable of carrying the message yourself?

Well, I guess convo on this one is done. Thanks Whizzy. Once you start on your every other line posts, I and most leave. We understand your rants and the truths behind them, just tired of the same rant over and over. Now this issue is done, at least for me, see you next time.

Blame ?

Notice the number of

- who start yelling and blaming someone else

when the well runs dry ?

Notice

- MORE pot holes lately,

- MORE talk about “privatization” lately,

- MORE talk about not enough money lately to run

- basic town,

- city,

- county,

- state and federal governments and

- schools

having revenue shortages ?

Lately . . . ?

Look to yourselves to blame.

YOUR SUPPORT

and continued support of

big box stores,

- walmart,

- menards,

- home depot,

- lowes,

- appliance stores,

- politicians and

- organizations

that sold you the idea of

“cheap”

and to import goods made from your friendly foreign workers . .

Research how they neatly crafted strategies from playbooks of

- the rich,

- the republicans, and

- the American Legislative Exchange Council, ALEC.

You might just

- find a pattern,

- connect the dots,

- follow the money,

- they’ve all cleverly crafted laws in their favor and conspired

- to rid you of YOUR MONEY.

You’ve condoned and welcomed

- low paid workers

- workers without benefits

- corporations that pay low wages so taxpayers can provide healthcare and foodstamps for THEIR LOW PAID EMPLOYEES,

to stock shelves brimming with foreign made junk,

- you've welcomed the break-up of unions,

- you've welcomed the break-up of collective barganing,

and you relish having them tell you

“always the low price“ . . .

Always?

THERE'S ALWAY A

Have YOU EVER told those who sell cheap foreign made junk

to prove their advertisements of

those so-called

Well,

with all that money you ‘saved”

by supporting foreign junk imports,

you surely realize that local governments

will need it by raising taxes,

because you wanted to save a few shekels . . and hire foreign laborers

It’s not as much about mismanagement

- it’s more about sending YOUR jobs and YOUR money overseas

- it’s about the choice you made

- the poor choices you made

- to increase the balance of trade deficit,

- it’s about the choice you made

- to vote for politicians who support and welcome illegal aliens

into the mix of low paid or no paid jobs for Legal American, taxpaying citizens,

- it's about the polticians that you voted for who created laws to absolve the rich, republicans, their businesses and their corporations from paying taxes . .

Now that you’ve saved your almighty sheckle . . .

-your decision to vote with your dollar and

- condemn the job and work of your neighbors,

- to blindly accept foreign trade agreements,

- by those who duped you rube,

- while you and your neighbor’s can hardly make ends meet,

- can’t find a carpenter,

- cant’ find a plumber,

- trades-person to come to your aid

for weeks and month’s . . .

complain of revenue shortages,

what’s the first thing that enters your dumb, ignorant, empty cranium,

when you hear that strange noise in your head,

when that shriveled-up pe.e you refer to as a brain,

rolls around . . .

Blame yourselves

You voted

You voted to send your dollars

over seas.

- and must make do with the scraps and pieces

you’ve left on the floor

Yooper and others, once again, what do you suggest? You have obviously already knocked me as a person and scholar, but you give no answer to the problem. I was/am merely giving a way to save the cost so the residence don't pay out the nose for another service(s) that are average at best. And by the way, you don't contract out ALL the same amount of jobs. Calling others idiots and stupid only suggest the same. It's about opening your mind and trying to find a solution. AND I don't want the PS to be eliminated or cut, but there is a budget issue that needs to be fixed.

and the vets also get this to and is law, and here is what snyder had to say Snyder argued Friday the state’s lost revenue is “an acceptable cost” and predicted it will be offset with an improving economy he believes will be spurred on by such reforms.
