Smarter than not,

Smarter, shlort, vauche all echo the same level of incompetence and ignorance and defense of greed and business.

Odds are that these posters share the same brain.

Frog, I'm not even going to pretend that your comment was posted by a different individual that Whiz. Those two monikers along with Cheeze always seem to speak so glowingly of each others' comments on here.

Smarter,

go ahead, have at it.

make a better case, but then you wouldn't know enough that there was even a case, if whizzywig hadn't said something.

Give it your best shot, like everything else, it won't be much, or will it.

Let them unionize. Heck, if I were the schools I would eliminate sports scholarships, pay the students a certain amount to play sports. But make the students pay for books, school, room and board, etc...(basically the school would get their money back)

Better yet, NCAA should have ALL schools treat their athletes like independent contractors, like WWE does.

You play sports for the school. You are paid X amount of money. You, as an independent contractor are given the schedule and you show up when needed, etc. But as an IC you are responsible for your own uniforms, transportation, hotels...all expenses are you own. That would be interesting.
