This whole thing is a BAD IDEA !! The city of Escanaba can not afford to waste money on a foolish idea like this!! Look how bad the roads are in town, look at the old empty buildings on Main Street that are falling apart. Wake up citizens of Escanaba, get rid of these idiots that are running your town!!!

It does not matter how much money you spend on the downtown district!! You are not going to make more people visit that area!!

For crying out loud that part of town has been dying of slow death for a lot of years!!

It is time to let it go,and put the money to better use!!!!

Wow! 38 whole parking spaces! Lets see, after the 15-20 people who park in the community park lot because they work on that block...that leaves about 18 spots for vendors and shoppers. It's an accident waiting to happen now! How is this going to make it any better?

Has the dDa reviewed the plans for improving OUR main street?

After, all.

How, are all our country cousins and townsfolk, citizens,

going to trek into town and get down to that place,

to spend their unemployment check?

I think they've thunk

of a way to spend the proceeds gotten from the sale of

electrical plant,

a might bit too early.

Has anyone thunk to tell the acheatect,

that he wasn't getting paid until the electrical plant was sold?

Maybe, since he's got a gift for spinning dream's,

city "official's"

could weave his wisdom into quilt that would dress up and sell the electrical plant ...

Once again, a contractor from Marquette? I guess we have don't have any contractors in the area and are in the tax base. What a shame.
