Board seat was declared vacant JAN 2.

School Board has 30 calendar days to fill the position.

First meeting to fill the position, gridlock.

30 calendar days board members! Get back to the Board Room, you still have 2 weeks.

Why turn your ELECTED responsibilities over to ISD.

Maybe, Escanaba should dismantle school board and turn all functions over to ISD? Or vice-versa

FYI: 2011-12, ISD spending per student- (based on student count of-77). $125,600 per student. Ya, $125,600

Escanaba Public Schools: $9,600. student count-2400.

Board Divided - Why?

Here's Why!

Look at the board make-up right now:

Female - President - Cathy Wilson

Female - VicePres - Marilyn Noble

Female - Secretary - Natalie Clouse

Male - Treasurer - Jed Gagnier

Male - Trustee - Jim Hermans

Male - Trustee - Will Carne

It looks as though madam’s

Wilson, Noble, and Clouse,

have garnared the top most positioned cast-members of authority . .

would like to remain in dominant position of control over mere Trustless (2) and one high school scholar.

Clearly, the board is deadlocked over se.x.

Either Peterson or Jensen as a new board member will unquestionably give control over

one s.ex or the other,

thus the dilemma.

What we need is a se.xless candidate, and thus anyone with priestly attributes would be the best choice.

The mackinatzi center seems to be overwhelmingly, and uncannily organized along the lines of the rich republicans, rich democrats, and their corporations, the u.s. chamber of commerce, and their legislative writing branch the American Legislative Exchange Council, the kro.tch bros, tee-baggers, cittizens united (against paying taxes) etc.

A few lines citing their "mission" is all it takes to understand their motivation, to gain access to the $84 BILLION DOLLARS, taxpayers spend on public education every year in the U.S.

MONEY!

On the surface your quoted ‘numbers’ seems outrageous . . .

FYI: 2011-12,

- ISD spending per student- (based on student count of-77).

- $125,600 per student.

Ya, $125,600

Escanaba Public Schools:

- $9,600. student count-2400.

But, until a defining description of those numbers and how those funds are ascribed per pupil

- there remains everything to doubt and nothing intelligent to be derived from those so-called “facts”.

Remember, the ISD is no longer a hands-on, student driven entity.

The ISD has been morphed into

a “management” oriented, school-centered authority.

While students seem to be their mission,

it certainly isn’t “teaching students in classrooms” that is their Modus operandi...

those days have been gone long

ago.
