Join the club. Frozen pipes, broken pipes whatever it may be, these people who fix this stuff are so backed up and in no hurry what so ever. I personally know someone who had a frozen pipe issue, they did not totally fix it and they asked the company to comeback and do the job correctly and free of charge. Everyone is hurting right now with the weather.

Perhaps, you should have, could have said:

“if the water lines drainage lines, and septic tank fields were installed correctly,

‘they’ wouldn’t be having these problems ?

All water lines, drainage lines should be more than adequately insulated.

Water lines should be

not less than five feet under the soil,

insulated, and

preferably encased by a larger pipe to permit insulation arising from the water in the pipe,

rise to the building within the heated portion of the structure.

Septic tank drainage field and drain lines should be constructed with the idea to insulate pipes and fields to avoid cold penetration.

Avoiding initial construction expenses

ALWAYS leads to

MORE EXPENSIVE “FIXES” LATER.

SAVE NOW - PAY LATER !

Cheesehead This is helpful how? They are in the process of building a new facility, thankfully! Instead of giving them building codes how about picking up some laundry to do or drop off a roll of quarters!
