There is no reason to be killing cougars! There is so few of them that they do not pose a serious threat to the deer herd or any other animals in the forest. We have been lucky to have seen two cougars in the woods the last couple of years. It really is a thrill to see these animals in the wild. I hope they give these idiots the maximum sentence and revoke their licence for several years!!

No reason to shoot that cougar. So many of the yoopers up here have too much ******* in them and feel the need to shoot every*****thing.

If you dont want the animals here, MOVE THE F*CK AWAY FROM HERE!!! Might as well kill ALL the animals in the woods, cut all the trees down and just pave over everything now. This attitude keeps up theres not gonna be ANYTHING special about the UP.

When people ask you what is so great about the UP, i bet some of things you say is wildlife and being around nature. Well we need to stop p*ssing all over it and take notice.

If you read the article, you would know that the suspects are from Bay County which is downstate. So the derrogatory comments about yoopers wasn't necessary. Agree with the maximum sentence and maybe a ban from the U.P.
