"I was mistaken, I am accountable, and I am sorry," Casperson said. "Words matter. Accuracy matters. Especially here, with a topic that is so emotional and is so important to so many, especially those whose way of life is being changed in my district." pops, sounds like he is taking credit for the mistake and apologizing for it.

I will say I agree with Puck that Casperson seems to be taking responsibility for the mistake and not covering his behind.

On the flip side I think it's reasonable to think a congressman or senator wouldn't need an incident like this to "vet" information coming into his office. Especially when the information will be used to make law.

You think we should get rid of Obama too Whiz?

Let's face it, his lies effect a much larger population on a much more important issue.

@Puck, I guess he should remember from his school days to always check the source before quoting it, is all I'm saying! Casperson is a decent man and congressman. Wish he was in DC instead of Banishek!

How about the other wolf incidents that were not inaccurate?

Like peoples huting dogs attacked/killed on multiple occasions. Farmers livestock slaughtered by wolves on a regular basis. Are those facts no good now that one story was off a bit? The wolf was still in an area where children played. That is all that matters.

What doesn't matter to the wolf lovers is that wolves can be dangerous in the right situation. Especially when they do not fear humans. I have seen wolf lovers say they would be fine with a wolf killing kids because wolves need to eat. Hardly someone right in the mind, and those people should not be relavent to the argument on the population control of wolves. Sane people must be left to make the decisions. We let the nuts make the decisions for the past 7 years in this country and look where it got us.

Those nuts I mentioned will tell you Obama never lies.

we should have gotten rid of reagan, clinton, george dubaya, and of course romney, mccain, and obama shouldn't have gotten in the running as well...

once, these issues are solved, the effects of their ideas should have been marginalized, by a person with just one more iota.

curious george would like an 'answer' to just how "his lies effect a much larger population..."?

... (this should be 'good')

Pretty simple Whiz, it's the difference between the population of the country and the population of Michigan. Which is larger?

Who's decisions affect the country? Who lies affect the most people?
