IF

the board of commissioner’s

at one time deemed the Delta County Building and Zoning Administrator

position a

“FULL-TIME"

position,

with all of the normal 2080 hours per year,

needed for the performance of these

functions for DELTA COUNTY Delta County Residents…

What has changed so dramatically?

Has the work-load decreased?

Has the administrator increased his productivity and efficiency?

Now,

the board has deemed that this position

NO-LONGER

requires the dedication of 2080 hours in the performance of his duties for DELTA COUNTY residents…

QUESTION:

Why hasn’t this position been

“REVIEWED”,

previously,

and a determination made to

CUT the administrator’s time,

CUT and reduce payroll expenses and

SAVE DELTA COUNTY RESIDENTS

and

taxpayers money?

Now,

comes the commissioner’s with an idea that this person, and this position

REALLY

only needs 1530 hours to fulfill all the needs of Delta County Residents.

This amounts to just ‘hundred’s of a percent

SHORT of a 27%

REDUCTION

in hours available to Delta County Residents to perform essential services.

Perhaps, the zoning administrator would have been agreeable,

previously,

if the commissioner’s reduced the administrator’s hours and salary by

27%,

and saved Delta County Taxpayers money,

THROUGH more efficient operation of this person and this office?

I think not.

The person and position should be required to perform 2080 hours of service FOR DELTA COUNTY Residents,

and

allow the administrator to perform Menominee County work

OUTSIDE

of the 2080 hour work year?

Would the administrator and Menominee County be agreeable to such a proposition?

We, the taxpayers of Delta County, are paying for a FULL-TIME administrator,

let’s keep it this way.

He could “MOONLIGHT”

AFTER HOURS,

for Menominee County.

BUT,

most businesses generally are of the opinion that

‘MOONLIGHTING’

outside of normal business hours,

which are considered to be 2080 hours per year,

is NOT an ACCEPTABLE PRACTICE,

for the business, and

leads to

DECREASED PRODUCTIVITY by the MOONLIGHTER !

GO FIGURE…

Who’s getting MORE for less?

NOT

DELTA COUNTY RESIDENTS,

that’s a given !

The State keeps all the money now. Shared services really means NO SERVICES sucker. Longer waiting periods. Shame on the Democrat's and Republicans. Keep spending Obama..Man who has NEVER held a real job. Just lived off the system. The REAL national unemployment is close to 15%. If only the scum bag media would report the truth.
