Two obvious solutions for republican snider are:

1) put in place a vehicle and trailer tab fee by vehicle gross weight.

Presently, semi owners are able to game the system, and avoid higher fees by registering their vehicles in a state that has low license fees.

Much revenue is lost to the state, where the majority of the damage to roads and bridges is caused by heavy vehicles.

Increasing license plate fees and gas tax fees almost completely puts most of the road repair burden on light weight auto vehicles and their owners.

2) increase gas tax by vehicle gas mileage.

Certainly, this is not a good 'fit' for republican snider and is business buddies.

Clearly the republican governor snider needs money for road repairs.

Just as clear, is the notion that the republican governor is hard-pressed to manipulate a solution that favors business so they will avoid paying for road and bridge repairs.

Not as clear,

is why doesn’t the republican governor capture road repair costs

from those vehicles that inflict the most damage to our roads and bridges:

Those heavy-weight semi’s,

riding the roads nose to tail all the way down the trail, pounding roads and bridges like so many 50K pound jack-hammers?

Wake up!

the MAJORITY of the scamers, fraudsters, shysters and shylocks, are money grubbing republicans, with some of the same ilk thrown in from the dems as well...

but, the majority of the hucksters are businessmen, busineeswomen, all focused on money...

and of course, through in their right hand bandits they put in public office to write the laws and tax codes that allow them to become rich ...
