You need at 12-14 for 8 man football. Come on.. I played football in HS and two years college. What about minor, or major injuries & look at what will happen when you get your bell rung? You will be pulled out of the game right now. No ands, ifs, buts, or so's about it. You will be out the rest of the week, month or season. Mid Penn has had to drop too many things that will benefit a student, not only in sports but the classroom. The writing is on the wall.

A valid point, we can't afford to keep dropping programs. But I believe we could keep it going for one more year, it's 8 man football. Most of us play both sides of the ball, all we need is 8 guys, we're athletic enough to pull through the season with those few players.

Ok.. Go to Rapid River then. Because financially the district can not make, leaving kids to miss out on many things. Academics and sports, art/drama, choir, etc. that Gladstone can provide.

Why would you even suggest something so horrible? I would never go to Gladstone for school

Close Mid Penn High School and send them to Gladstone.
