It just gets better every meeting they have and approve things.Didnt hear how many jobs this will permanently bring to their metropolis they think they are building and how much did the study cost to start with?A person has no choice but to laugh at this crap.

"upgrades to the ball fields". Come on Gladstone the ball fields have way more people using them over the ski hill. They need more ball fields. Why was not the ski hill open later in the season this year when snow and cold finally came? They close down when there is a few weeks left of snow & cold.

Unbelievable, you can't ride down the streets in this town without the fear of blowing out a tire, and yet these geniuses want to spend 10 million on the sports park.I don't understand why Gladstone has to be in the "Ski Business" in the first place.Privatize it and collect tax revenue from it,oh I forgot we can get "free" grant money, well I got news for them, grant money isn't free, we pay for it one way or the other. They had to re-do 10th street for all tourists coming from the Harbor, and re-do Delta avenue so it looks pleasing for all the shoppers flocking to the new Downtown area.So where are they? I think its about time the commission starts taking care of the needs of its citizens and forget about all these pipe dream projects for awhile, there are a lot of other areas in our town that need dire attention!
