I can't help but think really couldn't this guy have gotten a clean hair cut and shaved his beard off. Don't get me wrong, facts are facts, but also looking like he does, does nothing to help him. And myself experienced problems with my mother as a child and have been diagnosed with childhood-PTSD and I do therapy every 10 days or so. Now my experience is nothing close to what this child has been put through. I can only hope the state, or someone else is going to foot the bill for this kid's future visits with professionals due to the*****he's already been through this early in his life.

If these two less than human beings get anything less than life in prison, there is something even more seriously wrong with our local judicial system than what was originally thought. That poor 15 year old will, hopefully, with some intensive therapy, be able to function "normally" in society...but because of this torture and abuse he has suffered for the last 5-6 years, it may not ever be possible. Life in prison is the very least these two thugs should get.

i agree with both cheesehead and smartherthanyou. bjpc56, although i dont always agree with plea deals, in this case it is better because of the cost. either way they will not get life but they will sure pay greatly. i dont believe justice will be done though. they should be put out of their misery or on an island.

dig up the stones,

let the taliban and shira law take them into their system.

That's the trouble with our system, no quick and dirty clean-up for these 'people".

EVERYONE is guilty until proven innocent - and you have 24 hours in court to make the case guilty or not, and if there's a 'hung-jury' - hang the 'em in the public square ....

at noon.

Ummm, did you read the article? They both plead guilty to life felonies. May get life, may not. Or would you prefer an 18 month long trial with a sequestered jury costing potentially $2k per day? Not counting legal fees, court staff, etc...

What's up with this plea s**t? They need to be locked up for the rest of their lives. That poor child will never be right after such abuse. Sick B**tards!!
