Follow the money,

not what is moral,

But rather,

what is profitable

For our rich friends,

republicans, democrats, and

their (multi) national corporations

and their off-shore TAX FREE bank accounts,

that allow them avoid paying a penny of U.S. taxes,

but yet are

ENTITLED

to billions of dollars in

Congressionaly provided

Tax credits,

while, legal American taxpayers, pay for their

FREE ENTERPRISE

Infrastructures . . .

Nuclear power is NOT viable,

nor

is it, AS CHEAP AS COAL,

given that life threatening means of long term storage is NOT AVAILABLE in our foreseeable

FUTURE.

NATURAL GAS, is cheaper,

but OUR republican (friends?) and

the rich, and their corporations

are INTENT on selling OUR,

NATURAL GAS RESERVES,

owned ENTIRELY BY THE CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES,

AND where these republican friends,

STAND TO MAKE A KILLING OF NEARLY 500% over the prevailing natural gas rates for U.S. citizens,

by SELLING our NATURAL GAS

to foreign markets.

Simply put,

COAL for Energy Power Production

WILL NOT BE RELEGATED

TO BEING A NON-PLAYER,

NOT IN OUR FORESEEABLE FUTURE,

GIVEN THAT OUR ENEGRY DEPENDENCE

FROM COAL IN THE U.S.

IS OVER 44%.

AND 93% OF THAT COAL IS MINED IN THE UNITED STATES

Putting our citizen taxpayers to work.

IF.

If, ege

(not LATELY, THEN WHEN)

can buy the plant,

Upgrade and,

Convert the plant to bio-mass,

Sell the energy produced,

Recoup its investment,

Payoff its loans,

WHY?

With less time spent conducting numerous “un-feasibility” studies,

city residents could have been the recipients of the advantages of

NOT

BEING

AT

THE

END OF AN

EXTENSION CORD.

Lately, let the city demonstrate where our power expenses have been REDUCED, by buying power elsewhere ?

Let them demostrate their words by facts!

What Sale?

It was "supposed to be sold" long ago,

"a done deal"

according to city officials pawning this only "legitimate" REVENUE SOURCE city officials has ever had the pleasure of banking REVENUE from !

They banked revenue by charging city electrical users, more than it cost to produce electricity.

Are they continuing to do this with the power they by elsewhere today....

INSTEAD OF GIVING CITY ELECTRICAL CUSTOMERS

THEIR LONG DESERVED BRAKE THEY PROMISED because they are buying electricity elsewhere ?

Not lately. Who has seen their electrical charges magically drop?

Voting now to just 'scrap' the joint?.. what about, "Re-establish it's worth, and march on!" I remember we voted TWICE to get the answer the city wanted.. and many times before that "We the People" said, "NO!.. don't sell!".. Now we'll vote TWICE again or more to SCRAP the joint?!

Is it sold ?

Nothing heard from the press, or the city, the city council,

or from

"its 'esteemed' advisor's".

How long should we be expected to "hold our collective breathes"?
