"Heads in Beds"? Clever... I sure hope we have a great tourist season this year - Fill all the beds possible.. y'know, I'd like to see an article here regarding this where you've actually POLLED many of these "Hotels" to see how they stand on "Beds for Heads".. Much like the GAS Buddy daily report on the price of Petrol.. it would be nice to know that Escanaba or the surrounding area still has xx% vacancy in it's "Hotels".. Average price of said "Beds for Heads" and the Yooper Promise that "We won't gouge ya, just cause it's Tourist Season"..

Like I said, I hope we have a great summer for tourists. I hope all the fun and games of July don't tire out the folks come August when we have the Fair.. I wonder if these 'experts' have advised us to get on the web with our happy times coming.. For hoots, type in, "Places to Visit in Michigan 2013" - see if you can find Escanaba's Birthday party in there. I know it'll be a great summer if it ever gets started

Well Mike, there may only be five things of interest to 'you' here in the UP.. and that's ok. There's a lot more of interest to folks than the Sensual Arts Book Store and a couple of Bars. Perhaps if you took your hand out of your pocket you could appreciate.. oh, Pictured Rocks, Soo Locks, Copper Mines, Campgrounds, Fishing, Boating, Museums, and Historical Buildings.. Not to mention the State Fair, the Marquette Fair, as well as the Esky 150 celebration.. Just to name a few that might fit on a finger or two of someone willing to take their hands out of their pockets Mike... Yeah, a lot more to see and do that Bars and Sensual Arts..

Estacey, you only named a few things worth seeing, just like i said.. I dont go to bars, never even been inside sensual arts lol... Been to pictured rocks several times and enjoyed it, also love camping, hiking and fishing. The state fair in town is lame, been that way for years and proud to say i DONT go.

Now pull your head outta your *ss and quit drawing assumptions.
