fireguy,

you have a 'right' to state 'your' opinion.

But,

reader's have a 'right' to opine on your comment, logic, and level of accuracy...

Again,

you have a 'right to your opinion',

even though it doesn't hold water,

and could be incomplete, inaccurate, and misleading...

and even wrong.

fireguy,

I have to side with wizzy ...

If you don't know what contributed to the national debt...

then, your broad, generalized characterization of the national debt and how it came to be,

is inaccurate, and you must not have enough facts at your disposal,

to arrive at an intelligent response.

I think the person who needs a economics lesson is you Spartytruth if you really think that about what Braves said.So why dont you explain to us how the national debt will be paid or how to reign in the entitlement programs(they were meant originally as a crutch to get oneself back on thier feet, and now are abused.)We have raised a generation who feel they are owed everything, hmm just like a Union. And that is what is going to bankrupt Mich,Cal,Flor,New York,Penn etc..The United States!!!!!!

The "young brats" will be too busy trying to pay off the massive debt that our generation has created to enjoy the class envy that you love to spew, Whiz. All the social entitlement programs that have been allowed to run amuck, and the $17 trillion in national debt, are going to have to be paid for by someone. It's not going to be you, since you seem to be advanced in years, and us aging baby boomers are leaving the workforce in droves as we reach retirement age. But the young people now entering the workforce face a daunting task in cleaning up our mess. If I were you I'd be a little more respectful towards those "young brats," since we're going to be depending on them for our care and feeding down the road. Besides, most of the young people I know are bright, creative, hard-working and respectful, and deserve better than your disdain.

It would be interesting,

to note how young brats will be talking

in ten,

in twenty,

in thirty, or

more years,

after you’ve all had your “fill” of

the rich republicans,

the rich democrats, and

their magnanimous, condescending attitude towards their unit’s of labor?

A UNIT OF LABOR, IS AN EXPENDABLE ITEM ON THEIR

BALANCE SHEET

- THAT SHOULD BE REDUCED TO ITS

LOWEST POSSIBLE EXPENDITURE…

The reason for these laws,

are motivated mainly by

the REPUBLICAN RICH,

and to the a lesser extent,

the DEMOCRATIC RICH,

written and sponsored from and organization called

the American Legislative Exchange Council, (ALEC).

Once more,

ALEC, is a secret organization, so wrapped in covert usurpation of the one vote, one vote concept,

it has only 21 goals in mind,

all of them targeted and, that will reduce the living standard of legal American, taxpaying workers.

Their primary objective is 21 areas of public finance and for the public good,

laws,

policies, and

regulatory efforts to stem the tide of worker’s right to determine his environment,

both at the work place, and with the air, water, and land, we use as OUR NATURAL RESOURCES.

These are resources that belong to EVERYONE,

not the rich,

not the republican rich,

not the democrat rich,

not their corporations.

Most of the comments and 'disagrees' are from dimwit’s, halfwit’s, and nitwit’s,

who are too young to remember…

If, you think for one (1) minute,

the rich, and

their corporations

are going to pay you more,

you are indeed to young, naïve and ignorant!

The rich, and their corporations, will work you until you drop,

and pay you whatever crumbs they think they can throw to the masses.

Remember the lyrics from SIXTEEN TONS

- Tennessee Ernie Ford’s hit record …?

"You load sixteen tons, whata ya get, another day older and deeper in debt…

Saint Peter don't you call me 'cause

I can't go, I owe my soul to the company store …"

It will be interesting how today's young brats will be talking ...

in ten,

in twenty,

in thirty, or

more years,

after you’ve all had your “fill” of

the rich republicans,

the rich democrats, and

their magnanimous, condescending attitude towards their unit’s of input/labor?

A UNIT OF LABOR,

IS AN EXPENDABLE ITEM ON THE BALANCE SHEET...

- THAT SHOULD BE REDUCED TO ITS LOWEST POSSIBLE EXPENDITURE…

- thus paving the way to bank more...

MONEY!

Perplexed,I happen to live in a right to work state and belong to a union and the only thing this law does is take money out of the greedy unions pocket and will put it back into hard working people's pocket. As far as unhealthy and lowest paid well I'd guarantee I make more money than you do there, and trust me we aren't any unhealthier than any Yooper,I should know just got back from the gym(it's a place that has weights and those machines that you can walk on.in case you've never seen one.)typical Democrat.....

The law titled right to work is really the Republican right to enslave law. It was brought any paid for by big business and the movement to privatize all education. All creditable economic studies prove that those states with this asinine Republican approach have the worst economies and their workers are the lowest paid and least healthy. Oh I forgot that the profits of the very few are paramount to the good of the people as a whole. If you keep voting for the Tea Party/ Know Nothing/ Republican Party then we will be back in the Great Recession/Depression which was brought about by of Bush and his crooks. The next step is to rid us of Synder, Casperson, and McBroom so Michigan can again become a wonderful place for all of us instead of for only those people who and corporations that contribute large amounts to the Republicans and other reactionaries that presently control Michigan.
