Just goes to show how much we rely on the federal government and how silly we are to do so. This sequester isn't even a drop in the bucket concerning govenernment spending and a pittance to what needs to be cut.

Hopefully at some point more people will realize we have to start living within our means and moving money from one segment of the population to the other can't and won't solve the problem. Not counting on it though. Unfortunate.

The President, "campaigned" on the horrific repercussions of the sequester, because he knew if people found out how little 85 billion in cuts really are, they might just demand more! That is why he's doing everything in his power to make them as visible, and painful to the average person as possible. Remember he requested, received, and signed into law the sequester, and he's deciding what to cut!

No one who could get an answer bothered to ask Obama what he meant when he said he would "Fundamentally change" the USA. Apparently he meant screw it up beyond repair.

Our President is not held accountable for anything for some reason. It has become acceptable to make inaction a course of action and if your inaction is met with no result, you simply blame the other side.

Obama is very divisive. I have never witnessed a President be that way before him. Look how he and the progressives operate. They propose laws that they don't want themselves (but make people feel good), because they know Republicans will do the right thing and oppose them. Then the progressives point fingers and say "we tried, but they wouldn't let us". It is effective as a tool to divide, just look how progressives act when this happens.
