they're ignored because they're next to useless. how often do you hear of kids having trouble exiting a school because a fire? NEVER! if you in a school on fire you can bet it will be nothing like the drill. it's not going to be single file out the door. it's going to be kids running like madmen to get out. tornados and such, you're probably better off getting in your car and driving away if it's coming at you. those lockers and cement walls are not going to save you. for tornadoes i cant believe they dont bring kids in the basement. glad i dont send my kids to these trash public schools in this escanaba dump. btw, half the teachers are garbage as well, and far from qualified for their job.
