If you read the article, you would find that he did mention the fact that North Central won the game.

Rick Branstrom's career > North Central winning their third straight game over mid Pen.

Brett is an incredible basketball player, without a doubt. But who won this game? Why slight NC by writing this kind of an article about a game that NC won? Why slight the rest of Brett's team? Why didn't you write an entirely separate article to salute Brett and his great career and write the game article about the game and the two TEAMS that played? You completely overlooked what I heard (but not from the esky press)was a very good game and you completely overlooked the fact that Brett does play on a TEAM. I wasn't at this game, I was at the game in BR, and I get absolutely nothing from your article that gives me any insight as to how this game played out. I had to call a friend that was at the game so I could get the details about THE GAME. Again, let me be clear, I think Brett is an incredible basketball talent, I am not taking anything away from him. But what about the other team - the winning team, and also Brett's teammates? Was anyone else out on that court last night?

I think they roll with 6 players? Two of which were freshman and one sophomore. And they have to play in the toughest conference in the U.P. regardless of class. Hard to develop kids who aren't physically or mentally ready yet. Welcome to small school problems.

Great player, but it appears the coach never developed his team.
