It could go down to even less days. Most of the mail I get is junk mail.

I agree that many post offices could/should be merged! Take Powers/Spalding, for instance, two POs a half mile apart. And, Iron Mt/Kingsford could be merged. And that is just two examples, there are many, many more.

Although driving the 3 miles to Wells is quicker than waiting in line in Escanaba.

How will this affect me? One less day of junk mail! They could go down to once a week or once a month as far as I'm concerned!

And yes MikeDavis, Wells postal is faster and I have used them for years. One person working and it amazes me how quick it is to get in and out. Esky employees move slower than molasses!

Postal went up another penny. With email, paying your bills over the internet, etc., the postal can go back to Poney Express. Just to mail a card still takes the same amount of time like it did over a decade ago. Now I can do that over the internet.

The whole postal can fade away. I know of many people that are at the age of 75 and use the internet like a pro.
