worse, you could end up in jail if you don't have bail. This innocent man was locked up for 3 days and then had to pay $1000 to get out or maybe 10%. yeah you get it back but what if he didn't have it and sat that whole time? so what if the victim was scared to death, he didn't stop them from leaving. maybe it wasn't necessary to pull out a knife but he still didn't break any laws. if he wanted them removed a weapon will get them out a lot faster than cops. worked for me when a couple young punks tried breaking in my garage and i chased them with a bat. i wasnt going to use it unless they tried something but they ran, never came back, and had priceless looks on their face. saved the police some hassle and no one got hurt.

So, essentially these days if I get mad at someone in their presence and tell 'em "I'm gonna blow your ass away with my gun." And no gun is ever seen and the "victim" may even know I have no gun. Then we stop being friends and police reports are written. That*****could end me up in court? Christ.

lol why did the cops even put this guy in jail to begin with? he was charged with felonious assault when he didnt even assault anyone. the victim didnt go to police until after. also how was the victim assaulted? there were no injuries or medical reports. maybe they came to his house and they wouldnt leave so he pulled a knife in self defense in case they were going to try something. that is not assault. you can pretty much pull a weapon in your own home at any time. these people on the prosecution side should be investigated for lying to police and such. nice job jurors! justice was actually done right!
