Ilsa Matthes is a graduate of Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. A transplant to the Upper Peninsula who has lived all over the central United States, Ilsa enjoys going to festivals and events to discover what the UP has to offer. She spends much of her free time painting, crocheting, making music, and studying sustainable living.
