Low income housing needed
EDITOR:
The city of Escanaba has very few places to rent for persons who are low income if they have a pet and of those who do take pets there are waiting lists of two to three years. This is directly from my property owner.
As far as the low-income apartments in this town go, it is a wait for the next available apartment to become available. I come from a city that is using all of its old buildings for low income housing This includes the downtown.
What businesses are you trying to protect? The bars. Since that is mostly what is downtown.
Low income persons are not disruptive all they want is to have a home like everyone else.
