It’s time for a third political party

Dear Senators, and Members of the House:

With this country becoming more and more “partisan,” meaning a firm adherent to a party, faction, cause, or person especially one exhibiting a blind prejudiced and unreasoning allegiance per Merriam Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary 10th Edition. Thus, I truly have come to believe both major political parties have now come to fit the term “partisan.” Thus, the USA political must give birth to a new third political party which I’ll call “Moderation.”

Just look at the U.S. Supreme Court nomination of former President Barrack Obama’s nominee, Merrick Garland, when Senate Leader Mitch McConnell said the Senator would not even consider, even though Garland appeared to be reasonably qualified. New President Donald Trump has nominated one whose age is only 49 to serve for life (maybe up to the age of 80 in the court.) I wrote McConnell and said “Absurd.”

I honestly believe the U.S. Supreme Court justices should be nominated for a term of 10 years, but be subject to renomination if confirmed by the U.S. Senate for another 10 year term to sit on the U.S. Supreme Court. Of course, this would require an amendment to the federal Constitution, which I strongly believe that most intelligent Americans would support.

What are your thought on proposing a Constitutional Amendment as I outlined for U.S. Supreme Court Justices?

P.S. I’m 100 percent in support of Planned Parenthood.
