The family of Abram Johnson is very thankful for this wonderful community.

Abram Johnson, age 1 year, was diagnosed with brain cancer in September of 2018. His treatment requires constant traveling from the U.P. to Ann Arbor and many days at a time at the Mott Children’s Hospital there. Since his diagnosis, the Johnson family has been overwhelmed by the support, love, care and help from area churches, friends and family, and even complete strangers who felt compassion for Abram and his condition. They are especially grateful for all the hard work and energy that went into the two amazing benefits for Abram, one in Felch (sponsored by the area churches) and one at Salem Lutheran Church in Bark River, Michigan. “The help we have received from this is more of a blessing than we can possibly say, especially since we do not know how long Abram’s treatments will continue,” Steve said adding, “We love you all so much and feel that we live in the best community in the whole wide world. God bless you all and please continue to pray for Abram’s complete healing.”
