‘Bright’ future for North Central gym

This week’s bouquets go to:

From Bruce Tapio of North Central Area Schools:

The next time you visit the North Central High School gym things will appear much brighter thanks to a Clean Energy Grant from the M&M Area Community Foundation. We were able to upgrade to energy-efficient LED lighting. The Community Foundation scheduled a Level One Energy Audit for the North Central Middle/High School building and identified the gym as a top priority to upgrade the lights. The Community Foundation and NCA would like to recognize the C.S. Mott Foundation for funding their clean energy outreach efforts. This came at no cost to North Central Area Schools. Many thanks to the M&M Foundation for keeping NCA in mind and completing the grant project in time for this year’s Girls and Boys Basketball season. Thank you.

From Joyce Kasemodel:

Thank you Laura Robinson, band director of seventh and eighth grades, for the wonderful concert on Dec. 6. Her arrangement of music included religious songs. It was positively uplifting and most enjoyable. Thank you, thank you.
