Amvets say thanks for White Clover Drive

This week’s bouquets go to:

From Amvets Post 123 Escanaba:

We are now into a new year. The Amvets officers want to give a big thank you to the Amvets members that took part in our White Clover Drive for 2017, the local businesses, and all the people that donate their hard earned money. This makes it possible for the Amvets to continue veterans helping veterans and people helping people. To learn more about the Amvets, stop in at our location at 1315 N. Lincoln Road Escanaba or visit Amvets.org.

From Right to Life of Delta County:

Special thanks to each and every person who made a difference for life by supporting our annual January signature press ad appeal. Thanks also to those who made the trip to Washington, D.C. to take part in the annual March for Life held on Jan. 19 to Pregnancy Services of Delta County, and Christ the King Lutheran Church in Escanaba for holding the prayer vigil on Thursday, Jan. 18, the KC’s and All Saints Church in Gladstone for holding the rally with special prayers on Sunday, Jan. 20, and to all who witnessed for life with their prayers, posters, letters and e-mails. May God bless you for your efforts helping to build a culture of Life in our area and in this country.
