Dagenais Foundation gets thank you
This week’s bouquets go to:
From Ruth Botbyl, 4-H leader and Dave Radloff, MSU Extension educator:
We would like to send a bouquet of thanks to the Dagenais Foundation for its generous grant to our 4-H club Sewing Up a Storm. We are very grateful for the money to purchase sewing machines and other sewing supplies to help our young people learn new skills. Also to Jeanine Dagenais for assisting in several of our class sessions.
From the Gladstone High School Baseball Boosters:
The Gladstone High School Baseball Boosters would like to say thank you to the Dagenais Foundation, First Bank and Riverside Auto Group for your recent donation to our 100 percent community funded junior varsity and varsity high school baseball program. We are so grateful for your support and commitment to our program. It is because of your enthusiasm we can put our junior varsity and varsity baseball players and coaches on the field. You continue to hit it out of the park.
Each Saturday the Daily Press salutes individuals and groups from our area who have had a very positive impact on the way we live.
We identify our bouquet recipients in one of two ways: from Daily Press news pages and from nominations sent in by our readers.
Mail us a postcard or letter identifying your nomination and putting into detail what they’ve done. Include your name, address, and phone number. Send nominations to Saturday Bouquets, The Daily Press, 600 Ludington Street, Escanaba, MI 49829.
They may also be sent to us by going to our Web site, www.dailypress.net, and clicking on the submit news button. Once there, click on “Bouquets” and follow the simple instructions.
