Many hands made Home and Garden Show a success

This week’s bouquets go to:

From: Estelle Smyth, Lori Seawright, Kathy Bloniarz & Pat Rudden

The Escanaba Kiwanis Club would like to thank everyone involved in making the 2017 Home & Garden Show and Pancake Days an excellent success once again, especially our show sponsor, American Metal Roofs of Northern Wisconsin.

We also have a huge thank you for all of our fantastic vendors who highlight their wonderful products for our community. We also appreciate the community members who have supported us so well, including buying our pancakes for the past 60 years.

The weekend event would not be possible without many hours of service from our Kiwanians and their families, members of our Builders, Key and Action clubs, Bay Pines students and staff, and many other friends of Kiwanis.

Thanks to Rebecca Krans of the MSU Extension and Matt Hansen for setting up the excellent Smart Gardening presentations, as well to all of the great presenters.

We also appreciate the fine event coverage provided by the Daily Press, other local media and the advertising that was very generously provided by Pro Auto Body.

We are especially appreciative of Mark Jasper of Jasper’s Sugar Bush for his donation of incredibly delicious maple syrup and honey to serve with our pancakes and the donation of water and coolers by Norway Springs.

We’ll see you all at next year’s show on April 6-8 2018.

From: Gladstone High School Baseball Boosters

We wish to take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone who attend our 5th Annual “Meet the Teams and Coaches” breakfast fundraiser making the event another Grand Slam. The boosters, players, coaches, and parents are especially grateful for the support our program receives from our area sponsors, event donors, radio and media PSA’s, past alumni, and grandparents. The breakfast was delicious and the raffles were outstanding.

It is because of everyone’s willingness the youth of Gladstone remain involved in positive activities and keeping a top quality high school baseball program going. We hope to see you all at our Varsity and JV baseball games this 2017 season. Please join us in our 6th Annual breakfast in 2018. Gooooo Braves!
