Sherry L. Ford

Sherry is survived by her husband, Cecil G. Paul Ford of Gwinn; a son, Danny Rodgers of Marinette, Wis.; six sisters, Penny Lindsey of Escanaba, Vickie Caputo of Lansing, Connie (Henry) Auge of Escanaba, Melodie (Randy LaMarch) Rodgers of Escanaba, Michele (Roy) Oehlke of Two Rivers, Wis., Shawn Walechka of Escanaba; six brothers, Robert A. Rodgers and Steven Rodgers, both of Escanaba, Michael (Rebecca) Rodgers of Two Rivers, Greig Goodchild of Escanaba and Shane (Tonya) Goodchild of Escanaba; six stepchildren, Tina Gilley, Kenneth Ford, Kathleen Brown, Betty Ruth Ford and Sarah June Levesque; numerous grandchildren, step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Carrie Pribyl and a brother, Randy Rodgers.

Sherry was born on Aug. 25, 1956, in Escanaba to the late Robert F. Rodgers and Beverly Goodchild. She married Cecil G. Paul Ford in 1990.

She was employed previously as a union pipefitter at Champion Mill, where she met her husband, and Tryans Greenhouse. She was currently employed at Walmart of Marquette for the past 18 years. She was an active and dedicated member of Heritage Baptist Church in Skandia and was an active member of the Omega Class. She loved gardening and reading cookbooks.

A memorial service will be held at Heritage Baptist Church, 3755 County Road 456, Skandia, Mich. on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 4 p.m. with Pastor Lon Russell officiating. Visitation will be held for 3 to 4 p.m. in the church. Interment will take place in Lakeview Cemetery in Escanaba in the spring. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Sherry’s life.
