OLD JOE, Ark. — Dear, sweet, Jane Marie Harris, 54, owner of “Healin’ Hollers”, Old Joe, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019, due to failing health. Jane was born in Escanaba, Mich., on June 9, 1964, and graduated from Escanaba Area Public Schools in 1982.

Jane is survived by her son, Andrew Harris; her faithful dog Coal; her parents, Robert and Diane (Lokuta) Polowski; and her siblings, Peter Polowski, Sue (Steve) Miller, Andy (Sherrie) Polowski, and Mary (Troy) Nelson. Jane is also survived by many nephews and nieces, dear friends and wonderful customers.

Jane was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Charles and Barbara Polowski ,and her maternal grandparents, Charles and Lottie Beaudrie.

Jane loved camping and campfires, was a great gardener and was especially tuned in to nature. Jane documented the first signs of spring every year, whether it be the daffodils coming up or the first songs of the frogs. Jane had great respect for the planet and was the neighbor everyone wishes they had. Jane’s passion was her business, “Healin’ Hollers.” Jane created natural healing products which were sold all over the world. In producing her sought after products, Arkansas provided the plants and flowers, Jane provided the knowledge and love.

While Escanaba friends and family were instrumental in setting Jane on her life journey, it was her Arkansas friend and mentor, Alice, who introduced Jane to the ways of natural healing. Jane and Alice are together again, Healin’ the Heavens.
