Sandra Lee ‘Sandy’ (Choate) Bolm

STEPHENSON — Sandra Lee “Sandy” (Choate) Bolm, 76, of Stephenson, passed away on Friday, Jan. 11, 2019 in Green Bay, Wis. She was born on March 1, 1942 to Merrit and June (Sundling) Choate. In 1980, Sandy married her beloved husband, David Bolm, who preceded her in death. Sandy was an avid painter and chef. Her paintings have been shown in galleries and shops around the country, including Mackinac Island and her chosen home state of Florida, where she lived for almost 30 years. She wore many hats during her life, but painting and cooking were her passions.

She is survived by her daughters, Wendy Bolm and Kim (Heim) Oakley; her son-in-law, Michael Oakley; her brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Lois Choate; her granddaughter, Tori (Hambleton) Kaplen, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and beloved friends from Michigan and Florida. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Roxanne Cartwright, and her daughter and son-in-law Jennie and Ronald Fisher.
