Arlene M. Miller

BARK RIVER — Arlene M. Miller, 92, formerly of Bark River, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018, at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility.

She was born on March 7, 1926, in Fenton, Mich, daughter of Byron and Lizzy (Randall) Greer. Arlene graduated from high school in Harland, Mich.

On June 17, 1943, Arlene married Grant Eldred Miller Jr. in Tyrone Township. He preceded her in death.

Arlene was employed as a bus driver for the Fenton Area Public Schools for several years, retiring in 1980.

Arlene loved shopping and going out for dinner.

She was a member of the Bark River American Legion Auxiliary, Bark River Methodist Church, Highland Golf Club and the senior bowling league.

Among survivors are her children, Barbara Murray of Spalding, Linda (Bob) Tuttle of Wells and Dean (Cheryl) Miller of Escanaba; grandchildren, Diana (Dean) Mcknight of Gladstone, Patrick (Faith) Murray of Wilson, Grant (Julie) Murray of Lindenhurst, Ill., Tracy (Greg) Enslen of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Eric (Shelly) Kinyon of Phoenix, Ariz., Melissa (Sean) Boyce of Marinette, Wis., Melanie (Joel Arhens) Miller of Peshtigo, Wis.; 25 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, two brothers, one sister-in-law, one brother-in-law, daughter-in-law Linda Miller, and son-in-law Roger Murray.

Visitation will be on Saturday, April 28, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Chapel, 1236 Old Hwy 2 and 41, Bark River. The Bark River American Legion Rheaume-Knauf Auxiliary will have services at 3:30 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. with Rev. Christine Bergquist officiating. A meal will follow at the Bark River Methodist Church.

Burial will take place in the Bark River Cemetery.
