Dennis ‘Denny’ E. Naylor
GLADSTONE, Mich. — Dennis “Denny” E. Naylor, 70, of Gladstone, passed away Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, at home surrounded by his loving family.
Denny was born July 7, 1947, in Escanaba, the son of Clarence and Mildred (Menard) Naylor. Denny graduated from Gladstone High School. After graduation Denny joined the Navy and served in the Vietnam War. After completing his tour of duty he returned to Michigan and started work at Mead Paper. He retired from the paper mill after 40 years of service. Denny enjoyed the outdoors and spent most of his free time hunting, fishing, and camping with friends and family.
Denny is survived by: two sons, Danial (Jessica) Naylor of Gladstone, Mich., and Michael (Tammy) Naylor of Parker, Colo.; one daughter, April (Sandon) Collins of Springfield, Mo.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Juanita “Lu” Naylor (Jacobson), Denny was preceded in death by his parents.
Family will receive friends Saturday, March 10, from noon until 2 p.m. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Military honors will be presented by the Gladstone American Legion at 2 p.m. at Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Naylor family.
