Marsha G. Couillard

ESCANABA — Marsha G. Couillard, 63, of Escanaba, passed away on Monday, Feb. 19, 2018, at OSF St. Francis Hospital.

She was born on May 17, 1954, in Escanaba, daughter to Lester J. and Loretta H. (Khollman) Cody. Marsha graduated from Escanaba High School, class of 1973 and was a lifelong resident of this area.

Marsha previously had worked as an assistant baker for the Escanaba schools hot lunch program.

She was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed watching golf, playing cards, crocheting, and baking pasties. Her pride and joy were her three grandchildren, Rylie, Ava and Kobe Curtis.

Among survivors are her daughter, Amanda (Matthew) Curtis of Escanaba, and their children; two brothers, Lester “Jim” (Sue) Cody of Cornell and Anthony “Tony” (Arlene) Cody of Escanaba; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Loretta.

Visitation will be on Sunday, Feb. 25, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home in Escanaba. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. with Pastor Chris Johnson from Christ the King Lutheran Church officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to join for a meal at the church following services.

Burial will take place in the spring in Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Marsha’s daughter, Amanda Curtis to assist with expenses.
